# TenBulb > TenBulb helps you figure out which products and services to offer. TenBulb assesses business and product ideas: market, customer needs, innovation options, and product features. Idea Evaluation is Market and Validate. Idea Execution is Needs, Innovate, and Product. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.tenbulb.com/): Sign up and sign in are on the home page. Assistants also create an account on the MCP connect screen. - [Pricing](https://www.tenbulb.com/#pricing): Professional is $29 per month. - [How it works](https://www.tenbulb.com/#how-it-works): Public steps on the home page. - [Agent Ready](https://www.tenbulb.com/agent-ready): HTTP API for agents, with signup, login, and OpenAPI. - [OpenAPI](https://www.tenbulb.com/api/openapi): Machine-readable API description. - [About](https://www.tenbulb.com/about): About TenBulb. - [Support](https://www.tenbulb.com/support): Help with TenBulb and the TenBulb connector. Checkout cancel opens this page. - [Upgraded](https://www.tenbulb.com/upgraded): After Professional checkout, go back to the assistant and continue. - [Privacy](https://www.tenbulb.com/privacy): Privacy policy. - [Terms](https://www.tenbulb.com/terms): Terms of service. ## Use TenBulb from your AI agent The MCP endpoint is https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Grokbot, and Muse use this same remote MCP server. Sign in with OAuth 2.1 using authorization code and PKCE S256. Dynamic client registration is supported. The scope is tenbulb. Create a TenBulb account on the connect screen with email and password. Human verification stays on that form. There is no email code, magic link, or MFA step. After the account is created, the same OAuth consent continues back to the assistant. Do not send a new user to the home page to sign up. An unpaid account can start one idea. While free_ideas_remaining is 1, signup and GET /api/check-subscription set canAccessIdeas to true. next says to POST /api/ideas or POST /api/generate-idea. Checkout is the next step only after that free idea is used. get_account reads plan (free or professional), subscription status, free_ideas_remaining, and the account email for every client. Claude, Cursor, Grokbot, and the HTTP API receive get_upgrade_link, with checkout_url, price, and expires_at for Professional. When checkout_url is present, give the user that link. Never ask for card details in chat. ChatGPT and Muse do not receive get_upgrade_link, checkout_url, a price, or an upgrade prompt. Stripe success opens /upgraded, which tells the person to go back to the assistant. Cancel opens /support. - [MCP endpoint](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Call the TenBulb tools here after signing in. - [Protected resource metadata](https://www.tenbulb.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource): OAuth protected resource metadata for the MCP server. Scope tenbulb. - [Authorization server metadata](https://www.tenbulb.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server): Authorization, token, and registration endpoints. Scope tenbulb. - [Protected resource metadata for /mcp](https://www.tenbulb.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp): Same protected resource metadata on the /mcp path. Scope tenbulb. ## MCP tools Typical order: start_idea, then analyze_market, generate_needs, generate_options, spec_features. Validate is on the TenBulb site. There is no Validate tool. - [start_idea](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Create one TenBulb project when the user says "assess this business idea", "give me some business ideas", "evaluate an idea", "what business should I start", or "which products or services to offer", or gives a product, service, or feature idea or the customer problem it addresses. Do not use for general chat that is not about a business or product idea. Returns project_id, title, a one-paragraph summary, and url. A second idea on an unpaid account returns FREE_LIMIT_REACHED with checkout_url and does not create a project. When checkout_url is present, give the user that link. Do not ask for card details. Annotations: readOnlyHint false, destructiveHint false, idempotentHint false, openWorldHint true. - [analyze_market](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Run TenBulb market analysis for an existing business or product idea: market definition, size, and motivation. Use when the user asks for the market of that idea. Do not use for stock markets, news, or general market chatter that is not this idea. Annotations: readOnlyHint false, destructiveHint true, idempotentHint false, openWorldHint true. - [generate_needs](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Generate and save TenBulb needs for an existing business or product idea: tasks, subtasks, and target outcomes. Use when the user asks for the needs of that idea. Do not use for general task lists or personal needs that are not a business or product idea. Annotations: readOnlyHint false, destructiveHint true, idempotentHint false, openWorldHint true. - [generate_options](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Generate TenBulb innovation options for an existing business or product idea, including the activity function and adjacent or alternative approaches. Use when the user asks for innovation options for that idea. Do not use for general brainstorming that is not a business or product idea. Annotations: readOnlyHint false, destructiveHint true, idempotentHint false, openWorldHint true. - [spec_features](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Generate TenBulb product features and requirements for an existing business or product idea. Use when the user asks for the product features of that idea. Do not use for general writing or feature lists that are not a business or product idea. Annotations: readOnlyHint false, destructiveHint true, idempotentHint false, openWorldHint true. - [get_project](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Read the saved TenBulb project for a business or product idea. Use only to resume that idea, its market, needs, innovation options, or product features. Do not use for unrelated lookups. Annotations: readOnlyHint true, destructiveHint false, idempotentHint true, openWorldHint false. - [list_my_ideas](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): List the signed-in user's TenBulb business or product ideas and remaining free idea quota (0 or 1). Paid plans are unlimited even when the free slot is 0. Use only to find those ideas or the free-idea quota, not as a general memory or search tool. Annotations: readOnlyHint true, destructiveHint false, idempotentHint true, openWorldHint false. - [get_account](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Read the signed-in TenBulb account. Returns plan (free or professional), subscription status, free_ideas_remaining, and the account email. Use when the user asks about the plan or the remaining free idea. Annotations: readOnlyHint true, destructiveHint false, idempotentHint true, openWorldHint false. - [get_upgrade_link](https://www.tenbulb.com/mcp): Create or reuse an open Stripe Checkout Session for TenBulb Professional. Use this when the user wants to upgrade or after FREE_LIMIT_REACHED. Give the user the checkout_url to open. Never ask for card details in chat. Returns checkout_url, price, and expires_at. This tool is omitted for ChatGPT and Muse. Annotations: readOnlyHint false, destructiveHint false, idempotentHint true, openWorldHint true. ## Free and paid An unpaid account can create one idea over MCP and the HTTP API, and only when its free idea slot is still empty. A second idea does not create a project. The first idea is not SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED. The refusal code is FREE_LIMIT_REACHED. The message is: This account used its one free idea. Upgrade to Professional ($29/month) here: , then ask me again. Claude, Cursor, Grokbot, and the HTTP API include checkout_url for the same Professional Checkout Session. The HTTP API returns 402 with checkout_url on that limit. When checkout_url is present, give the user that link. Do not ask for card details in chat. ChatGPT and Muse do not receive get_upgrade_link, checkout_url, a price, or an upgrade prompt. Their free-limit result says the account used its one free idea. Paid plans may create another idea and do not consume the free slot. Paid plans are unlimited even when the free slot is 0. Professional is the paid plan. After checkout, the webhook marks the account active, and the next get_account or start_idea sees the paid plan. A free-trial status does not grant that website access.
